On Thursday 9th February, St George’s is hosting a Secondary Information evening aimed towards Primary students soon to be entering Secondary school. This transition Information Evening is open to the public and will take place in St George’s Auditorium from 6.00pm – 7.30pm.
This evening will give current and prospective parents the opportunity to meet with the Secondary Head Teacher, Mr Mark Fleet, the Assistant Head Teacher, Mr Gary Cooper and several other key members of staff who will be working with the students in the Secondary school from September 2017.
The transition process from Primary (Year 6) to Secondary (Year 7) will be explained, there will be a Question & Answer panel for parents or students to ask staff relevant questions and a group of current Year 7 St George’s students who will provide a student perspective on the transition from Primary to Secondary school.
Students who are not currently registered at St George’s are welcome to attend the event with their parents. To register please email events@st-georges.lu.
