St George's News

Year 4 students took an environmentally friendly trip to the Philharmonie on Monday morning. St George's took advantage of the free bus service to transport 65 children and 6 teachers to Kirchberg, with a scenic bus trip through the city. The students enjoyed an atmospheric percussion concert called ‘Recycled’ which combined orchestral percussion instruments, junk instruments and exciting lighting effects. It was very inspiring and the students hope to use some of the ideas in their music.
