St George’s has teamed up with 2 other European schools in order to participate in the Erasmus+ project—Sportify - ’Sport for All, With All’.
The project is focussed on developing the concept of ‘Inclusivity’ through participation in Unified and Inclusive sports events with students from our partner schools, NMS Engelsdorf in Graz, Austria and the Agios Spyridonas Special School in Larnaca, Cyprus.
KS3 students from St George’s will participate in some inclusive sports lessons in January and February 2020 and in Year 10 the Sports Leadership course will have an emphasis on developing the skills to lead Inclusive sports activities.
This project is from 2019-2021 and is an opportunity for all students in the school to participate in Inclusive sports events, both here in Luxembourg and when we travel to Austria and Cyprus for international sports tournaments.
